Lights Under Louisville:
Running from November 11 through January 1, this is an opportunity to drive your vehicle through the MEGA Cavern, experiencing an underground light show!

Paristown Crystal Ice Rink:
A 100’x50’ ice rink right in the heart of Paristown’s annual Fête De Noël Winter Holiday Festival. This ice rink features holiday music, skate rentals for people of all ages, and even a concession stand. Admission costs cover 60 minutes of skate time as well as skate rental.

Louisville Botanical Gardens: Gardens Aglimmer
Louisville’s Botanical Gardens are lit up and decorated in the holiday spirit throughout the month of December. Visit the gardens before 9PM to walk through the gardens and get into the holiday spirit. Advanced registration is required, so make sure you check out the link above to purchase your tickets ahead of time.

Sauerbeck Drive In Theater
The Sauerbeck Drive In theater will be showing holiday movies throughout the month of December. The first movie will start each night at 6:15PM, and tickets can be purchased online. Concessions will also be available on site.

December 1, 2022: Christmas Parade
The annual Kiwanis Club Bardstown Christmas Parade is back for 2022. This parade features adults, with floats, and bands. The parade will be located downtown and will officially begin at 6PM. Festivities begin at 5th and Broadway then come down 3rd Street to the Visitor’s Center.

Dec 2, 2022: All is Bright
Westport Village will be celebrating the holiday season with music, a visit from Santa, and a Christmas Village Market.

Dec 3, 2022: Light Up St. Matthews
The annual holiday celebration includes music, letters to Santa, pictures with Santa, train rides, ice skating, and other activities. Free cookies and hot chocolate are free for everyone to enjoy. Rain or shine, this event will occur, as most activities are held under a large tent. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m. when the switch is thrown and Brown Park “Lights Up” with holiday lights.

Dec 3, 2022: Bardstown Rd. Aglow
The 37th annual Elijah Craig Bardstown Road Aglow will be on Saturday, December 3rd and will run from noon until 10 p.m. This event supports local businesses and will feature special discounts on food, drinks, and merchandise at participating restaurants and shops along Bardstown Road, Baxter & Barrett Avenues, and Douglass Loop.

December 4, 2022: Charity PJ Party and Holiday Market
Santa’s Little Helpers Incorporated is hosting its second annual fundraiser. The SLHI Christmas Charity Pajama Party and Holiday Market is a family friendly holiday event that is free and open to the public. Come decked out in your Christmas pajamas to enjoy music, crafts, pictures with Santa, holiday shopping and a silent auction. The proceeds from this event will go towards Christmas care packages for foster children this holiday season. A donation of new, unwrapped pajamas is appreciated but not required. Most needed pajama sizes are men and women adult sizes.
