Real Love Baby by The Heavy Heavy

This song feels like something that would turn on on the radio during Sunday morning breakfast. I think it has such a happy but nostalgic vibe at the same time. This is the type of song that gives me an urge to pick up random objects and use them as microphones. It feels so cozy and reminds me of the beginning of fall too.

Let Go by Aaron May

I love this song. Had to add a rap song to this list. I made myself memorize all of the words and I love listening to it before lacrosse games. Aaron May is so talented and all of his songs have amazing beats behind the lyrics, which are also amazing.

Otherwise by Morcheeba

This is my parent’s favorite band and one of their favorite songs. I love connecting with my mom and dad through music. Skye Edwards, the lead singer, has a psychedelic sort of voice which blends into a calming yet electronic vibe. This band has so many awesome songs, and I’m seeing them live soon!!!

Stereo by BoomBox

I’m starting to get more into house music, and my mom actually showed me this song. It makes me want to head bop for 5 whole minutes. I always relate songs with the time I first heard them, and this one just makes me think of summer and being on vacation. Such a good vibe and such a good song to have playing in the background when you are with people.

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson

I just love Jack Johnson. And I love the lyrics to this song–it reminds me to never wait for anyone or anything. His songs are always so fun to sing to in the car, and they just fit perfectly with the vibe of the trees changing colors.

Take it Easy by The Eagles

One of the classics. This is one of my favorite songs of all time to listen to in the car when I’m feeling stressed out. It feels so October and Autumn-y to me. If someone asked me for the theme song to my life, I would pick this.
